Whoa! What a week! Dame Reggaeton kicked things off with a HUGE turn out, nothing says party like having a day off the following day!
Mr. Mos Def followed things up with what can be described as a charming performance of forward thinking hiphop. And finally Andy C tore the Monastery (of all places!) a new one with a balls out set of killer DnB. I don’t know about anyone else but I need a lie down!

Check out the photos!

Andele! Andele!

Its that time of year again, when Brisbane’s entertainment precinct explodes in a mass of colour, people and sound. Held over 2 days and 2 nights starting on the Friday, the Valley Fiesta hosts a slew of local and national musicians and performances. This year the crown is topped by Born Renegades hiphop showcase including The Optimen, Eloquence and Truths, Pure Product, Seven, Vegas Aces and Prophet Rayza.

Best of all, its free!

For program guides for music, art fashion and food, check the site Valley Fiesta

Last one for the year…. or is it?? 😉

For those that don’t know, The Slew is made up of turntable extraordinaires, Kid Koala and Dynomite D and ex-Wolfmother members on bass and drum duty. Together they form what could only be described as head banging hiphop. Its what Mike Shinoda wishes Linkin Park would be like!
The live show is just nuts, heaps of energy and you can tell the guys are having a blast up there! Jump on to youtube.com to see them in action.

Another solid day of broken beats from the ADICTS boys with the Freestylers dropping a variety of hiphop, breaks, dubstep and DnB.

Freestylers. What are you on. Reach for the painkillers. Raw as F*ck!
