Don’t let this week’s Time Off Magazine‘s Live local band feature artist fool you with his name. Seemingly a cross between Zed from Police Academy and the Tasmanian Devil Screamin Stevie is in fact a softy at heart and a mentor to the next generation of super heroes 😉
Read about him and his adventures in this week’s issue #1542.

Big Boi @ The Tivoli 26/8/11

Hit me again Ike and this time put some STANK on it!
I don’t think Tina was talking about the same thing Mr. Boi was when he released Stankonia with fellow OutKast-er Andre 3000 but no doubt there was still plenty of booty slapping in mind!
Big Boi brought his energetic live band set up for a show at the Tivoli. Support from the very entertaining Theophilus London.

Nike Air Vengeance
“Vintage is back..” fictitious ad campaign.
These bad boys were originally released in 1985 but have had the remake treatment like so many other Nike models in the last 5 years.
They keep true to the styling and materials but with modern build quality and colourways. This “maize” colour got a more limited release as opposed to the red or blue, so the choice was easy, even if I was already sold on that colour 😉
A side note, not being very Photoshop literate, this is actually the first time I’ve ever used gradients on an image (applied to the original image) so it makes it a little special. But don’t worry, I have no inclination to become a shop-tographer anytime soon!
This week we keep the river theme flowing with Our Ithaca Creek for the Time Off Magazine‘s Live local band shoot.

“1337 AIR” fictitious ad campaign
I’ve finally gotten a chance to start working on shots of sneakers from the holiday haul. For a bit of fun, I’ve conjured up some fictitious ad campaigns to go along with them. To get the ball rolling, we have these Nike Airforce 1 lows in medium grey “microperferated” leather and a clear grey gum sole.
Subtle enough to sneak (ha!) into work attire yet still with enough pop to stomp on some keyboards!
Try and respawn from that ya little….!
Expect to see many more of the holiday pickups peppered through out this blog in the coming months!
This week we popped out to New Farm for our next run of artists for Time Off Magazine‘s Live local section covers, first up is the delightful Sue Ray.
Read about her in this week’s issue #1536.
