So as it turns out I’ve completely forgotten about the final entry for the 2019 trip, maybe subconsciously because it hurts too much to think about how things were in the before times and the completely life upheaval of the last few years, it really does feel like a lifetime ago. On the plus side its hard to not look back at the photos with fondness in my heart so here’s a big photo dump of one the best things you can do in Tokyo… wandering! 😀
Fast forward to the present, prices for flights have had some good buys, the hoops you have to jump through for travel have become alot less and in a wonderful stroke of luck, things actually went my way and aligned for a quick getaway a few months ago…. more on that soon!(…ish? lol)

Sophomore efforts can always be a bit hit and miss but the team at Good Things have once again smashed it out of the park! Stellar line up and another seamlessly run event. The rain, most of the heat and even the smoke held off for a fun summer’s day of metal and rock and or roll. Bring on 2020!

Brisbane’s premier old school rave event got an upsize in venue moving down the road to Prohibition, which just so happens to be the old Tube nightclub! 20 years ago it closed its doors but the good times of that checkered dancefloor live on with the help of a stellar line up of local legends including Darren Briais, Bexta, Jen-E, Barking Boy, Gracie and Rousey.

It’s been a few years since we were last out at the Bundaleer rainforest gardens so it was a welcomed return to be amongst the trees for Sarah and Cam’s wedding a few weeks ago. A pleasant winter’s afternoon led to a very crisp evening but it was no match for the warmth of love in the room, outdoor gas heaters ….and sparklers 😉
