This week we hit up a new venue for our 3d World collabos, award winning bar X & Y. It’s a throw back to the valley of old, think 90’s into the 00’s when the valley was dress code free and so is the entry.

The first DJ off the ranks is Brisbane trance stalewart, Tranceducer.

He has a chit chat about less chit chat and public nudity. Check him out in the Social Club section of this week’s issue #1028, out now!

Brisbane gets a royal sampling!!

We’ve known for awhile that Brisbane is packed full of awesomeness, you just have to know where to look. So we at soulbridgemedia rounded up a couple of our good friends and thought we’d help the uninitiated out by hosting a cultural festival encompassing.. well, cool shit!

Expect to see and hear goodies from up and coming and established music, dance performances, art and fashion designers. It will be a day full of live music, DJ’s, dancers, fashion shows and market stalls selling anything from sneakers and collectible toys to clothing and art work and there will even be sample bags!

Best of all, you too can be part of it. We’re on the look out for businesses, promoters, DJ’s, artists, designers or even private sellers wishing to be part of or even help sponsor the event. Even if you just want to get your flyers/business promo/demo material out to the greater community, we can help!

For more info, updates and full brief go to: www.facebook.com/freshoutfesitval

So lock in Saturday October 2 in the Chinatown Mall (Duncan St. Fortitude Valley) and stay tuned for live entertainment and market sellers announcements!

The final artist from our Zuri shoot is electronics tweaker, Dot.AY, he’s doing to Game Boys what Grandmaster Flash did to records… no not scratch shit out of them!

He talks about his Mana love and does his best Kayne impersonation in the Social Club section of this week’s issue #1027, out now!

Andele! Andele!

Its that time of year again, when Brisbane’s entertainment precinct explodes in a mass of colour, people and sound. Held over 2 days and 2 nights starting on the Friday, the Valley Fiesta hosts a slew of local and national musicians and performances. This year the crown is topped by Born Renegades hiphop showcase including The Optimen, Eloquence and Truths, Pure Product, Seven, Vegas Aces and Prophet Rayza.

Best of all, its free!

For program guides for music, art fashion and food, check the site Valley Fiesta

Next on the list from our Zuri shoot is the lovely Chantal, Brisbane soulful house specialist and Zuri resident.

In the Social Club section, she has a chat about the Brisbane scene and what seems to be her mum’s inadvertent reference to “Snow – Informer”… or was that just me?
