Nike Air Max 25th anniversary
Celebrations have been in full swing all around the world (yet to see any locally tho! ): ) for Nike’s irrepressible technology, second to only the Air bag itself, the Max Air bag cushioning system clocks up a quarter century milestone this year. Being a bit of a sucker for things that make us feel like we’re walking on clouds, we thought we’d dig into the archives for some of our favourite Air Max photos. As you can see we’re rather partial to one particular model 😉

New “festival” on the block(s) and classic Simpsons quote “The Blurst of Times” Festival headed up a host of local bands from Violent Soho and Velociraptor to Gung Ho and Bitch Prefect. Spread across three venues, Coniston Lane, Alhambra and Black Bear Lodge, it was kind of like a festival, a bit of running around but minus the long queues and battling the elements.

We had a BBQ at one of Brisbane’s go-to spots and I just so happened to have a couple toys with me (and its rather uncanny as to how close they resemble me and my little lady 😉 )

This week we caught one of classic rock’s all time greatest (and I’m quite surprised at how well he’s still kicking on!) who brought a George Clinton sized band ensemble complete with horn section, piano and Tom Morello kicked off their Australian tour in Brisbane at the entertainment center.
